Enid is the Executive Director of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont, where she has been since 1987. In this position, she works on federal and state policies on sustainable agriculture, and on programs such as integrating local food into the school lunch program in public schools in Vermont, providing on-farm technical assistance to organic farmers and coordinating a statewide farmers’ market association, the Vermont Farmers’ Market Collective. Enid lives on a small farmstead in Huntington, VT with her husband and two children, Lila (11 yrs) and Eli (8yrs), and assorted horses, sheep, ducks, chickens and rabbits. For fun and games, she coachs field hockey at the local highschool, her daughter’s soccer team, and help lots of young kids learn to cross country ski through the Bill Koch program.
