Dr. Rotberg is a Research Fellow and Director of the Environmental Security Project at the Silk Road Studies Program at Uppsala University, Sweden. She is also the Environmental Security Editor for World Security Network. Prior to her employment at Uppsala University, Dr. Rotberg was employed both by Foundations for Success and Earthwatch Institute. She earned an interdisciplinary Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. During her doctoral studies, she used her Switzer Fellowship to conduct research in local settings in Mexico and Costa Rica.
