Patrick directs The Nature Conservancy's Southwest Climate Change Initiative. He also serves as director of conservation programs for TNC in New Mexico. Patrick works with public agencies, academic institutions, partner NGOs and private landowners to design and implement climate adaptation projects in the Four Corners states. He also manages a small team of conservation scientists and practitioners who are working to protect and restore New Mexico's rivers, streams, grasslands, forests, and deserts.
