Regan holds a MS in Botany from the University of Vermont and a BA in Government from Cornell University. An avid birder, she has studied migratory songbirds in the mountains of North Carolina, counted hawks above the Golden Gate Bridge, and searched for marsh birds in Vermont wetlands. Her experience as a public school science teacher --in both San Francisco and Boston— fostered her commitment to issues of educational justice and she now brings this commitment to her work as a consultant with environmental non-profits. Regan lives in Anchorage, Alaska where she works as a mother, an environmental educator, and a consultant.
