Since 2011, Global Diversity Foundation has organized the yearly Global Environments Summer Academy (GESA), a multidisciplinary academy designed to broaden and deepen the knowledge, networking, and communication skills of postgraduate students and professionals who are concerned about the human dimensions of environmental challenges.
The GESA website (www.globalenvironments.org) provides an overview of previous years’ academies, including themes, a blog, videos, photos and alumni profiles. GESA 2015 is to be held in collaboration with the Centre for Development and Environment at the University of Bern, between 27 July and 14 August 2015.
