The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation has released a policy brief entitled Driverless Jobs: Autonomous Vehicles & A Just Transition for Black Drivers, authored by Regan Patterson.

This report:

  • Highlights the relationship between the transportation sector and Black labor & the potential disproportionate economic impact of autonomous vehicles
  • Makes policy recommendations on how to prepare today for autonomous vehicles to ensure a just transition for Black drivers & the future of work for the Black community
