Conservation biology seeks to document and protect Earth’s biodiversity with the aim of protecting species, their habitats, and ecosystems from excessive rates of extinction, and Switzer Fellows contribute to every part of the field. With ecosystems across the globe under increasing pressure from a changing climate, Switzer Fellows are also working at the forefront of climate adaption to find ways to protect species, habitats and ecosystem function from the changes that are already upon us.
