Daniel Morris

Daniel F. Morris is an Advisor to the U.S Executive Director of the World Bank. Previously, he was a Policy Analyst in the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Environment and Energy. He helped execute Treasury’s responsibilities in the domestic and international environment and energy agenda of the United States. This includes implementing domestic and international aspects of the Climate Action Plan and managing U.S. interests in the Climate Investment Funds, the largest group of funding facilities dedicated to climate action in the world. Prior to joining Treasury, he was a Center Fellow at Resources for the Future, where he focused on the policy and economic implications of a broad swath of climate change issues, including carbon pricing, US climate adaptation, international climate negotiations, and the energy-water nexus. He has a Masters of Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at University of California, Santa Barbara and a B.S. of Environmental Science from Northern Arizona University.
