Karen Merritt
Biography
Karen received her PhD from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maine. Her research examined the impacts of industrial mercury pollution on coastal aquatic ecosystems. Karen currently works as an environmental and public health engineer, focused principally on water quality and remedial design for contaminated sediment sites. When not working, Karen enjoys old cameras and street photography.
