For the last 15+ years, Jason has worked at the nexus of agriculture, water, and energy issues. In 2011, he transitioned away from international rural development to focus on the Northwest. Jason is training the next generation of professional mechanical-electrical technicians and operators to harness renewable energy and biomass-based non-food resources to produce high valuable chemicals, electricity, heat, and fuels to replace petroleum products, treat water, and mitigate climate change.
