Alfred Gonzalez

Biography

Tenured biology instructor at Evergreen Valley College (SJ,CA). My focus has shifted to improving science curricula and facilitating educational achievement for Chicano/Latino and Native American students. Other areas of focus include faculty advisor for the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS). Also, student retention and matriculation to 4-year universities and graduate school.

In addition, I am a father of four children and very active with their academic and social events.
