Logan McCoy is a joint Master’s degree candidate in Environmental Management and Business Administration at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and the Yale School of Management. He is interested in the crucial role of business in achieving a more sustainable future and in lowering barriers for deeper environmental considerations in private sector activities. His graduate studies focus on sustainability metrics, supply chains, and stakeholder engagement within consumer goods companies. Logan has worked with a diverse range of organizations including Patagonia, New Belgium Brewing Company, and 1% for the Planet. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Sierra Institute for Community and the Environment, a non-profit organization that promotes healthy and sustainable watersheds and forests by investing in the well-being of rural communities in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. He is a native of Northern California and holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara.
