Biography

John is an energy and environmental policy specialist who has produced ten books on energy, climate, and natural resource issues, including Climate Peril: The Intelligent Reader's Guide to the Climate Crisis, Climate Myths: The Campaign Against Climate Science, Forests Forever: Their Ecology, Restoration and Protection, and Charging Ahead: The Business of Renewable Energy and What It Means for America, focusing on renewables and energy efficiency. His career has included journalism, teaching, and consulting on energy and environmental science to corporations, nonprofits, the US Congress, and the National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences. He has written for many major newspapers and magazines as well as peer-reviewed journals and is currently a blogger on Huffington Post.
