Karen Merritt

Biography

Karen received her PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine and her MPH from UMass Amherst. Her research examines Infrastructure × Health Access Disparities. Karen currently works as an environmental and public health engineer, focused principally on water quality and remedial design for contaminated sediment sites, and on framework expansion for undergraduate engineering education.
