Peter Thompson

Peter is employed with ABB Environmental Services, Inc. in Portland, Maine as a project manager/environmental engineer. He is conducting design and construction of secure state-of-the-art landfills, groundwater monitoring, and assessment and repair of hazardous waste landfill cover systems. Peter also directs a program for remediation of gasoline contaminated soils and bedrock groundwater resources. He has been traveling throughout Mexico to lecture on behalf of the EPA and its Mexican counterpart on solid and hazardous waste management/landfill design and operation as part of the EPA's border initiative.
