Luis presents AquaWatch webinar on investigations of aquatic applications in Google Earth Engine

The need for global-scale, open access, fit-for-purpose coastal and inland water quality information is shared by scientists, decision-makers, industry professionals, and the general public. GEOAquawatch’s Google Earth Engine (GEE) working group set out to explore the ability for Google Earth Engine to fill this shared need. Kelly Luis presented shared highlights from the group and hosted a community discussion on the current GEE needs of the GEOAquawatch community.  Activity highlights include walking through open-source atmospheric correction methods in GEE and the derivation of water quality parameters with machine learning methods.
