This funding was provided to promote Jeremy Hays into the position of Western States Organizing Director for the Apollo Alliance.  Last year Jeremy was hired as Western States Organizer working in California, Oregon, and Colorado. Jeremy made much progress over the past year advancing the national and regional organizing strategy of the Alliance. This year, he has been promoted to Western States Organizing Director and will be the key contact for other staffed Apollo programs in the western United States. Jeremy’s work in this second year will focus on helping local coalitions get organized, find funding, and share learning, and helping to harmonize local efforts with the national Apollo effort.
