A polymer chemist, Abe studies polymer and supramolecular materials for next-generation batteries and sustainable plastics. Using organic and macromolecular synthetic methodologies, he designs polyelectrolytes, mechanochemically-active networks, and self-assembling graft copolymers.

Nick is an ecologist, educator, and naturalist studying how native bees cope with the impacts of climate change in order to develop strategies for bee conservation. His public education efforts reconnect people with urban nature and teach them to support pollinators in their own yards.

Ross has led supply-chain operations for Doctors Without Borders and worked on responsible sourcing and recycling for Apple’s global supply chain. A citizen of both the U.S. and Ireland, he roots his sustainability work in Celtic, Ignatian, and monastic spiritual traditions.

Witnessing deforestation firsthand in Colombia motivated Natalia to become a conservation scientist. She now studies the connections between biodiversity, global change, and agriculture. Specifically, how climate and land-use change affect nature’s contributions to coffee production.

Asta combines social and natural science approaches to study the effects of contaminants of emerging concern in the environment and public health. Drawing upon environmental organic chemistry, trophic ecology, and public health he explores PFAS bioaccumulation in marine food webs.

Meghna a postdoctoral fellow studying offshore wind and fisheries interactions. She also has experience with anadromous fish biology, climate impacts, food security, and environmental justice. Meghna is also passionate about equity for professionals in environmental fields.
