Switzer Network Funding & Collaboration Connections
Switzer Fellows are always seeking funding for their work, and in this particularly challenging funding moment, it’s more important than ever to have existing relationships to apply for collaborative funding around interdisciplinary issues. Environmental and equity work is complex, multifaceted, and works best when collaborative in nature. Come meet other Switzer Fellows who are also seeking to build relationships to collaborate, seek and respond to funding proposals that advance shared goals, or work together in other ways.
We welcome fellows who have an opportunity in mind, fellows who want to hear others’ ideas, and fellows who are interested in building relationships without a particular project in mind. We are going to model this event on an unconference session, where fellows bring the ideas they’d like to discuss and join the conversations others propose that seem interesting to them.
Because we will be building our structure based on who’s coming, please plan to attend if you register. If your plans change and you will no longer be able to attend, please let us know asap. If possible, please register by May 4 (registration will remain open beyond that date though).
If you’re interested in this conversation but just can’t make this date/time, email Cora! We’d love to get a sense of who’s interested in building these connections to help plan for future offerings, even if you can’t make it to this event.
Lindsay (Bar) Barbieri and Cora Preston will be co-hosting this event.
The Switzer Network Code of Conduct establishes norms and expectations for participation in virtual and in-person communication, meetings, and events sponsored by the foundation. We expect all stakeholders to abide by this Code of Conduct while attending Switzer events.
