Frazier receives 2025 LGBTQ Trailblazer in Law scholarship

Natashia Frazier is a recipient of the 2025 Albers-Alexander LGBTQ Scholarship Fund, housed at the Horizons Foundation. The program was “created to empower LGBTQ students pursuing a law degree and who show leadership and courage on behalf of the LGBTQ community. The goal of the fund is to break down barriers to education and uplift those who have historically faced challenges to access including LGBTQ students of color, transgender students, LGBTQ immigrant students, LGBTQ students who are the first to attend college in their family, among others.” 

“These remarkable individuals embody courage, resilience, and the drive to create a more just and inclusive future for the LGBTQ community.”

Natasha (Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe) is pursuing a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy with a focus on International Development and Environmental Policy, and International Legal Studies at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She is interested in the intersection of federal Indian law, environmental law, and water law.
