Sena Wazer

Sena Wazer is a lifelong environmental advocate and the Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator for Sierra Club Connecticut, where much of her work focuses on organizing at a state and regional level to oppose fossil fuel expansion. She graduated with her Master's from Yale School of the Environment in 2026, where she studied climate change and environmental justice. Before graduate school, Sena worked in regional and state based climate organizing for The Climate Reality Project and Sunrise Movement Connecticut. 

Sena focuses on community organizing as a mechanism for creating policy change, particularly at the state level and is a passionate advocate for climate justice policies that center racial and economic justice. Sena is originally from Mansfield, Connecticut and received her BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Connecticut.
