Chávez speaks on learning cohorts and diversity in the environmental field

This April, Dawn Chávez spoke about some of the seminal experiences that led her to her role today as Executive Director of the Environmental Leaders Program and the importance of cohort-based leadership learning, DEI in environmental programs and activating networks for the greater good as part of The Outdoor Academy's 30 for 30 Speaker Series. Bill McKibben and other inspiring environmental leaders were also part of the series of thirty-minute presentations.  In her talk, Dawn discusses “the critical need for diversity in environmental education, and the power of cohorts and networks in the environmental field.”
